Overview
Deal Metric AI set out with an ambitious goal: create a platform that listens to live sales calls, transcribes them in real-time, and delivers AI-powered negotiation advice before the prospect even finishes their sentence. The technical challenges were significant—milliseconds matter when you're coaching someone mid-conversation.
The platform was built on Next.js with a custom WebSocket architecture to handle real-time audio streaming and AI processing. The transcription engine needed to be lightning-fast and accurate, while the AI coaching system had to analyze conversation context, strategic frameworks, and company intelligence simultaneously to generate relevant advice.
Beyond the core functionality, an intuitive interface was designed that sales reps could use without thinking about it. The AI suggestions appear contextually, the transcripts are searchable and shareable, and the post-call analytics help teams continuously improve. A framework system was also built that lets top performers codify their strategies and share them across the entire organization.
